Presentation 2. School education not enough for entrance exams..

It zeros down to technicality of paper correction. There are less teachers for correction. Meaning the students population keeps increasing year by year whereas teachers are not increased w.r.t ratio comparatively(whom to blame?).
KEYs for the answers comes with keywords which makes the evaluator job easy (board thinks that way) Anyone who has written those keywords will get full marks or someone might write only those keywords with improper sentences might still get full marks and anyone who written in his own might not (even if it makes sense). Using colorful pens I don't agree. Underlining the keywords makes his/her job easy when they are asked to correct some 200 papers/hour.
I'll address the next issue in new post soon..Rajesh Pandian Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13738748238418756325noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2925779836938152145.post-14493670233522871262016-02-27T06:16:38.478-08:002016-02-27T06:16:38.478-08:00It is good to read your blog on My Favorite Teache...It is good to read your blog on My Favorite Teachers! I do have many of them throughout my education and without them, I will not reach the present position. But I always not had a good opinion regarding the state education system, particularly the students are required to do things like highlighting keywords, using different color ink and making the answer sheet presentable, instead they should concentrate on the exam. I even couldn't able to understand what the meaning of presentable is? The purpose of any education is to acquire knowledge in that subject and ability to relate and apply to the problems. Instead, our education system encourages to memorization without understanding. And of course, I couldn't blame entirely for this to teachers. How many of the students in Tamil Nadu able to qualify in the entrance examination to the institutions such as IIT's and NIT's. If one should need to attend coaching classes to prepare for this examinations then what is the need of school education. Why the school education is not enough to prepare the student for entrance examinations. If a student couldn't able to do well in those exams then his/her education is not complete.
